✈️ AVIA Lab Opens at KAI — Kyiv’s Largest Student Aviation Modeling Laboratory

On June 29, KAI and Athlon Avia officially opened AVIA Lab — an innovative space where university students and school students can design, build, and test their own aircraft models, taking projects from the very first sketch to real flight testing.

🏭 Covering 350 m², the laboratory is equipped with everything needed for the entire engineering process, including:
* Laser cutting
* CNC milling
* Thermoforming equipment
* Mechanical workshop
* Composite materials room
* Lecture hall
* Assembly workshop
* A dedicated learning space for school students

🎓 AVIA Lab is open not only to KAI students, but also to students from other universities and school students who are passionate about aviation, engineering, and hands-on aircraft development. Participants will have the opportunity to design, assemble, and test aircraft models using real industrial equipment while developing teamwork, engineering skills, and practical experience by transforming ideas into fully functional aircraft.

🚀 In just two enrollment rounds, AVIA Lab has already brought together more than 100 university and school students.

* Representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation
