NASA Space Apps Challenge 2026 hackathon at Kyiv Aviation Institute (KAI)

NASA Space Apps Challenge Is Coming Back to KAI

On November 14–15, KAI will once again host NASA Space Apps Challenge — the world’s largest annual space hackathon. For more than five years, our university has been a meeting place for people ready to turn ideas into real-world solutions.

🌍 In 2025, the hackathon brought together more than 114,000 participants from 167 countries and territories. Now it’s your turn to join!

What’s waiting for you?

⚫️ 48 hours to develop your own project based on challenges set by NASA experts and partner space agencies.

⚫️ Real NASA data to help you create an app, game, research project, visualization, or innovative technological solution.

⚫️ New connections, teamwork experience, mentoring support, and a chance to present your project on a global stage.

And the best part? You don’t have to be a programmer! Designers, engineers, analysts, scientists, managers, and anyone with great ideas are welcome, too.

➡️ November 14–15, 2026
➡️ KAI, Kyiv / Online
➡️ Teams of up to 6 participants

Don’t have a team? Come on your own — the organizers will help you find like-minded people.
