Bukovinian State Medical University took an active part in AMEE 2026, one of the world’s leading international forums in medical education, held in Vienna alongside the integrated Ottawa Event.
The conference brought together educators, researchers, clinicians, and academic leaders from around the world to discuss the future of healthcare education. This year’s program focused on the theme “Educators as Catalysts: Building the Future of Health”, with particular attention to artificial intelligence, digital pedagogy, simulation-based learning, clinical education, and the modernization of medical curricula.
Representatives of Bukovinian State Medical University presented their own research and innovative educational developments, demonstrating the university’s commitment to adopting modern teaching approaches and contributing Ukrainian expertise to the global medical education community.
Among the presentations were studies on resilience among international medical students, simulation-based pediatric education, digital pedagogy, and AI-assisted clinical simulation.
Participation in a global forum of this scale strengthens international academic cooperation, supports the integration of Ukrainian medical education into the global educational environment, and creates new opportunities for the professional development of future healthcare specialists.
