O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University (BNMU) is actively participating in the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and has become a key partner and co-beneficiary in several international medical research projects.
University departments, research units and research groups are invited to contribute to the preparation of international projects within the Doctoral Networks 2026 call, part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).
Among the international Horizon Europe projects in which BNMU has taken an active role are CURE-SHOCK, focused on innovative precision-medicine approaches to the intensive care of critical conditions; SGLT2-HYPE, aimed at improving the treatment of arterial hypertension; and CARDIO-REPRO-YOUTH, dedicated to studying the impact of chronic psychosocial stress on cardiovascular and reproductive health in adolescent girls and developing effective preventive interventions.

– Associated Partner — participating in the project under conditions agreed with the international consortium.
The department contributes its research topic, methodology, expertise and infrastructure to the international project.
BNMU’s International Relations Department supports university departments throughout the process — from preparing their scientific contribution and checking consortium requirements to coordinating communication with international partners and supporting the administrative submission process.

Departments interested in joining an MSCA Doctoral Networks proposal should:
Define a potential doctoral research topic aligned with the consortium’s priorities.
Identify a supervisor and research team.
Present the department’s scientific expertise in English, including publications and ongoing research.
Describe available laboratory, clinical and research infrastructure.
Outline possible training opportunities and secondments.
Identify existing or potential international partners.
