Erasmus+ — International Experience That Shapes Future Doctors!
A 5th-year medical student at Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU) had a unique opportunity to complete a two-month summer clinical internship in Romania through the Erasmus+ programme.
🏥 The internship took place at George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology in Târgu Mureș, where the student gained practical experience in paediatrics and internal medicine, joined clinical rounds, observed patient care and learned from experienced European medical professionals.
🔬 One of the highlights was a practical surgical suturing workshop, where students practiced different suturing techniques, surgical knots and instrument handling under the guidance of experienced specialists.
🤝 Erasmus+ is not only about clinical practice — it is also about international professional experience, cultural exchange, new connections and expanding horizons.
