Dental Medical Center at Bogomolets National Medical University
The Dental Medical Center of the University Clinic of Bogomolets National Medical University is a unique educational and clinical institution combining high-quality specialized dental care with the training of future dentists.
For international students, this means learning dentistry in a real clinical environment — alongside experienced specialists, using modern equipment and gaining exposure to a wide range of dental cases and treatment approaches.
The Center includes specialized departments for diagnostic radiology, anesthesiology, pediatric therapeutic dentistry, therapeutic dentistry and rehabilitation, surgical dentistry, prosthodontics and orthodontics, as well as a clinical and diagnostic laboratory, digital dental laboratory and medical device reprocessing department.
The scale of clinical activity provides students with an exceptional environment for developing practical skills. The Center records approximately 240,000 patient visits every year, including more than 100,000 children. Up to 1,200 patients are treated and consulted every day, including patients with complex dental conditions referred from medical institutions across Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.
More than 1,400 patients annually receive outpatient treatment under general anesthesia through the Anesthesiology Department.
The Center also provides dental care to socially vulnerable groups. Since the beginning of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine, more than 1,200 service members and their family members have received free dental treatment and prosthetic care at the Center.
The diagnostic and treatment process is supported by a modern infrastructure that includes 7 X-ray machines, a fully equipped Anesthesiology Department, a clinical and diagnostic laboratory, a physiotherapy department and a digital dental laboratory with 73 workstations.
All of this creates an exceptional environment for future dentists to move beyond theoretical learning and develop practical skills in a real clinical setting — working with modern technologies, observing experienced specialists and gaining exposure to a wide range of dental cases.
