Representatives of the Department of Orthodontics of Bogomolets National Medical University took part in the World Dental Congress in the Czech Republic.
As part of the Ukrainian delegation, Iryna Skrypnyk, Associate Professor of the Department of Orthodontics, and Liudmyla Hryva, a 4th-year PhD student, represented Bogomolets National Medical University at the FDI World Dental Congress in Prague, Czech Republic.
The annual Congress, organized by the FDI World Dental Federation, brought together dental professionals, researchers and industry leaders from around the world to exchange knowledge, scientific achievements and innovative technologies.
During the Congress, Iryna Skrypnyk, as a member of the FDI Parliament Committee “University Education in Practice”, participated in professional discussions and meetings.
Key topics included Artificial Intelligence, robotics, advanced biomaterials and the latest dental technologies shaping modern diagnostics, treatment planning and clinical practice.
The Ukrainian scientific dental community presented a number of research projects, including the study “Maxillary Molar Distalization as an Important Stage in the Treatment of Distal Occlusion,” presented by Iryna Skrypnyk and Liudmyla Hryva.
The knowledge and international experience gained at the Congress will contribute to the development of dental education and research and will be shared with colleagues at the Department of Orthodontics of Bogomolets National Medical University.
