🏛️ Bogomolets National Medical University hosted a roundtable discussion on “Hospital Incident Management: Building a Unified Model for Healthcare System Response to Emergencies in Ukraine.”
🤝 The event was held as part of the joint UNICEF Ukraine project “Safe and Resilient Hospitals.”
📌 The roundtable brought together representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, international organizations, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, healthcare institutions, the academic community, and experts in the field.
👥 Bogomolets National Medical University was represented by Rector Yurii Kuchyn and Deputy Director of the BSMU Business School Maksym Maskalenko.
🙌 During the event, methodological recommendations were presented for establishing hospital rapid response teams for emergencies, missile and drone incidents, as well as standard operating procedures for their actions during emergency situations. The recommendations were developed through cooperation between Bogomolets National Medical University, the University’s Business School, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
