The goal of Dnipro Medical Institute is to establish a scientific environment and promote a public health system based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, considering global experience in the healthcare sector. The training program envisions preparing a new generation of professionals for roles in public administration, local self-government, and various forms of business ownership, including non-governmental organizations in the field of public health. This initiative aims to improve and implement state policies and public administration strategies addressing challenges related to the demographic crisis, increased morbidity, disability, and mortality among the population. Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health also aims to tackle significant social stratification in access to healthcare services. The low economic efficiency of the health sector and the dissatisfaction of a large part of citizens with the state of medical care and patient rights protection underscore the need for the development of cross-sectoral and intersectoral cooperation on public health in Ukraine, guided by the national principle of healthcare in all state policies.
