The primary goal of Dnipro Institute of Medicine and Public Health is to establish a scientific environment and advance the public health system based on evidence-based medicine principles, incorporating global healthcare expertise. The educational program is designed to prepare a new generation of professionals for roles in public administration, local self-government, and various forms of business ownership, including non-governmental organizations within the public health sector. This initiative aims to enhance and implement state policies and public administration strategies to address challenges related to the demographic crisis, increased morbidity, disability, mortality rates, and social disparities in healthcare access.

Addressing the low economic efficiency of the health sector, citizen dissatisfaction with medical care and patient rights protection, and fostering cross-sectoral and intersectoral cooperation on public health are crucial aspects of the national healthcare policy in Ukraine.
