USEDE consultation
The Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE) is Ukraine’s official state digital system designed to record and verify key educational information. It serves as a secure national registry that confirms the authenticity of student enrollment, academic status, diplomas, diploma supplements, and educational institutions, in full compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
For international students, USEDE forms the digital foundation of their academic journey in Ukraine. All data related to admission, enrollment, study progress, and graduation is entered by the university and must be accurate and submitted within the officially established timeframes. According to current regulations, admission data must be recorded during the official intake periods — by March 1st or by November 1st, depending on the chosen enrollment session.
In practice, USEDE functions as a state-verified educational register relied upon by universities and government authorities when issuing student documents, residence permits, and diplomas. This makes the correctness and completeness of the information in the system critically important for every international student.
Occasionally, technical or administrative issues may arise. For example, a student may have successfully completed their studies, but due to delays or inconsistencies in the system, the diploma issuance process may be temporarily suspended. While such situations can be concerning, they can be resolved through proper communication and institutional coordination.
